Seller Terms
The agreement for selling digital products on the Digital Suq. By publishing a product, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who can sell
To publish paid products you must be a registered Sira Le Seriw creator and pass identity verification (KYC). Verification protects buyers, protects your work from impersonators, and is how we make sure payouts reach the right person.
2. Your work is yours — and your responsibility
When you list a product, you confirm that:
- You created it yourself, or you hold the rights and permission to sell it.
- Selling it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- You are solely responsible for what you upload, and you accept liability for any claim arising from it.
You tick a box confirming this every time you publish. That confirmation is part of this agreement.
3. What you may not sell
- Anyone else's work re-sold as your own — pirated books, courses, templates, software, music, or media.
- Content you don't have the rights to distribute.
- Illegal material, malware, or anything that harms buyers or others.
- Content that is misleading about what the buyer receives.
4. Permission you give us
So we can run the shop, you grant Sira Le Seriw permission to store your product, show its listing, and deliver the files (or access links) to buyers who pay. You keep ownership of your work — this permission only lets us operate the marketplace.
5. Reports & takedowns
Anyone can report a product they believe infringes their rights or breaks these terms. When we receive a valid report, we may remove or hide the listing while we review it. For serious or repeated violations we may suspend or permanently ban the account and withhold funds connected to infringing sales. Selling stolen work is grounds for an immediate ban.
6. Payments & payouts
Buyers pay in birr through Chapa, and your earnings land in your single Sira balance, from which you can withdraw. To protect buyers against fraud and infringement, sale funds may be held for a short, clearly shown period before they become available for withdrawal.
7. Buyer protection
Buyers are entitled to receive what a listing promises. If a product is not as described, is broken, or is found to infringe someone's rights, we may refund the buyer — including from held or future funds where appropriate.
8. Your promise to cover claims
If someone brings a claim against Sira Le Seriw because of a product you listed (for example, that it infringes their rights), you agree to be responsible for that claim and to cover the resulting costs. This is why listing only work you have the rights to matters.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the Digital Suq grows. Continuing to sell after an update means you accept the updated terms.
